I didn't have that confidence in myself as a Tier-3 college student. Bosscoder Academy helped me gain confidence.
When I was in college, I always tried to get into a top product-based company. As I'm from a tier-3 college, I didn't have much exposure to coding, and I've mostly gotten placements from service-based companies. So, I thought of taking an online course with placement support.
By browsing the internet, I got to know about Bosscoder Academy. I decided to join because of the structured curriculum.
The syllabus consists of data structures and algorithms, computer core subjects like OS, CN, DBMS, and system design.
Bosscoder Academy’s curriculum helped me master data structures and algorithms.
Believe me, one can ace DSA in just 4 months. First, I thought it would be a normal course like the ones that are available on YouTube. But to be honest, the instructors who are teaching are making sure that everyone understands the concepts well.
In my batch, the instructors are Manish Garg and Akshat Gupta. They taught us so well that if we understand the concept, then we can solve any problem on a similar topic. (An example would be a binary search in solution space.)
1:1 Mock Interview by Bosscoder Mentor has greatly aided me in practising mock interviews.
My personal mentor is Ayush Agarwal. I need to attend a 1:1 mock interview once a month and a group session to check my progress. He always helped me push myself. In these mock interviews, the mentor gives feedback on how we are performing and what needs to be improved.
Apart from teaching, they also helped me with resume building, which is the most important part. Previously, my resume was not being considered by many companies.
Now the most important thing is that the teaching mentors doubt supporters, and personal mentors have done their jobs well. The only thing we need to do is practice, practice, practice! One should at least spend 2 to 3 hours a day solving 2 to 3 questions per day.
Mentor Instant Support was my favourite of all the features.
When we are stuck solving the problem, we can reach out to doubt support, and these guys reply in just 5 to 10 minutes, which is the best thing in the entire course. I liked this feature the most.
So, anyone can get better by practising the questions for 2 to 3 hours a day. My suggestion is to try to debug the code first before running it or submitting it. It helps you a lot in the original interview.

By following these steps, I have gotten an offer from Synopsys for the role of R&D Engineer-I. I am really happy to be here, and this course has literally helped me with everything.
So, if anyone wants to crack a product-based company, they can join this course. Everything is good, but the only thing we need to do from our side is practice, practice, practice!
