91% of Tech Professionals Successfully Switch Jobs After Upskilling: Bosscoder Outcomes Report

Introduction

Switching jobs in today’s tech industry is more challenging than ever. With rapid growth in AI roles, changing skill demands, and large-scale layoffs across companies, many professionals are rethinking their career path. This is where structured upskilling becomes important. According to the independent assessment by B2K Analytics, most Bosscoder learners were able to move to new companies after completing their course, showing that the right preparation can lead to real career transitions

Out of 1,425 total learners assessed, 1,299 learners moved to new companies. This means 91% of learners successfully switched jobs.

These results were seen across both SDE (Software Development Engineer) and DS & DE (Data Science & Data Engineer) courses.

The results show consistent outcomes. SDE learners recorded a 92% transition rate, while DS & DE learners achieved an 87% transition rate.

Learners moved into various roles such as backend development, full stack development, software engineering, data engineering, and data-related positions. This shows that career growth was seen across multiple technical domains.

These were not internal job changes. Learners moved to new organizations, often with better salary outcomes, reflecting real career progress.
