A lot of professionals don’t feel stuck because they lack experience. They feel stuck because their experience doesn’t fully translate into better opportunities.

A stable job. A few years of experience. Steady growth.

But when it comes to switching roles or facing interviews, there’s always a pause. A sense that something is missing.

A clear gap between what you’ve been doing and what companies actually expect today.

This is where many professionals find themselves after spending a few years in the industry doing the work, but not moving forward the way they want.

Ziyaudeen’s journey is a reflection of this.

After spending around 4.5 years at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), he had built a solid foundation in SQL and gained consistent hands-on experience.

But when he started exploring new opportunities, things didn’t feel as strong as they looked on paper.

“He had experience, but I didn’t feel confident during interviews. In many ways, I still felt like a fresher.”

Taking a Step Back Before Moving Forward

Instead of jumping into another random course, Ziyaudeen decided to be more intentional.

He spent time figuring out what works to help him become more skilled at his job:
→ Speaking to people that had already upskilled.
→ Going through real LinkedIn experiences
→ Looking beyond just marketing claims

That’s how he came across Bosscoder Academy. But still he took his time before deciding.

“I wanted to make the right decision this time and not make another poor choice.”

What Changed After Joining Bosscoder Academy

One of the things he noticed right away was how well structured the program was.

There was no pressure to complete the syllabus, there was a focus on fully understanding each concept

The program provided:
→ A clear path to follow while learning
→ Classes on weekends (easy to manage with 9-5 job)
→ Regular doubt-solving sessions
→ Test and feedback throughout the program

All of this allowed him to remain consistent and not feel overwhelmed by the class.

Learning Started Making Sense

The second way to learn was through the delivery of the actual material and how it was delivered.

Ziyaudeen said that although some of the subjects were complex, the instructors did an excellent job simplifying each topic and relating them back to something that he could identify with, which allowed him to grasp the material much easier, rather than having to force it upon him.

The ability to have 1:1 interaction with his mentor was a big help.

He was able to:
→ Ask questions without feeling any pressure
→ Develop his method of solving problems
→ Receive insight into how data can be applied to real-world situations

The Result: A Role That Feels Different

Over time, the difference started to show.

He started to become more confident with the ideas/concepts, clearer with understanding, and better at applying what he had learned.

Eventually, he transitioned into a Senior Data Analyst role at Omnicom Media Group, working with global clients like Disney.

“Now my work is more about solving real business problems, not just writing queries.”

A Thought for Professionals Who Feel Stuck

To those who feel like they are 'stuck' at work. Many working professionals can relate to Ziyaudeen's situation.

Being 'stuck' doesn’t always mean you're not working hard enough. Sometimes it means:
→ Not having a clear direction in what you are trying to accomplish
→ Not having direction to learn
→ Missing out on industry-relevant skills

For him, Bosscoder Academy helped bring that direction.
